Dragon Ball Z Kai - Buu

Dragon Ball Z Kai – Buu

Listed as “the much-anticipated closing chapter of the cult series”, the Toei Animation Europe site has updated with information on the spring 2014 anime series Dragon Ball Z Kai – Buu, which began on April 6th in Japan. Working a similar angle to what we saw of the previous Kai saga with its remastered, reworked and recut design to bring a whole lot more compression and intensity to the story, Toei has revealed just how long this incarnation will go, which will have the fans wondering what cuts will be made. The Buu Saga will run fo 69 episodes, so we’ve got a good deal of episodes ahead of us that we’ll also likely see licensed and released from FUNimation down the line as well.

According to Toei Animation Europe. “Those new episodes will be broadcast on Fuji TV every Sunday at 9 am, starting from April 6. This remastered and reedited series is being broadcast in the UK on Kix, in Portugal on Sic Radical, in Poland on AXN Spin, and in France on Game One.”

Plot concept: Majin Buu’s spree of terror continues, and his ruthlessness knows no bounds! In his quest to eliminate the remaining Z-Fighters, Buu has cut a path of destruction across the face of the Earth, leaving a trail of devastation so utterly complete that it may even be beyond the power of the Dragon Balls to repair…

With their efforts to stop Majin Buu quickly proving futile, the Z-Fighters have but one remaining hope against this seemingly invincible foe—the Fusion Technique! But for this desperate plan to succeed, Goku will have to join forces with his oldest rival, Vegeta! Can the combined efforts of these two mighty Saiyan warriors put a stop to Majin Buu once and for all? The final battle for the fate of the universe begins!
