BlazBlueMadman Entertainment continues to pick and choose some interesting titles to bring to the Australian market and the latest one they’ve added is BlazBlue: Alter Memory. While no dates, formats or languages are cemented yet, the series will be coming from them in the future. It was previously simulcast in North America by FUNimation, though they have not formalized a home video acquisition themselves. The series was animated at teamKG and Hoods Entertainment. With a series of games starting back in 2008 and extending into 2013 as well as a couple of novels and some manga, it’s no surprise that BlazBlue has gotten an anime adaptation.

Plot concept: Long ago, the world was saved from a monstrous creature known as the Black Beast by a group of heroes wielding a powerful combination of magic and science. Now, a rebel named Ragna the Bloodedge—who happens to be the most wanted man on the planet—finds himself in the middle of a mysterious plot that’s somehow connected to the Black Beast’s resurrection and the possible end of the world.
