We had gotten a look at most of this through a recording of a talk show earlier in the week, but now the clean version of it has been posted online for the live action Lupin the 3rd film. This new feature that’s set to debut on August 30th, 2014 in Japan that’s working to relaunch it potentially as a franchise. And it’s certainly a property that makes sense to try and make work since it has plenty of easy franchise potential, particularly with anime specials running once a year to build off of for awareness. The project was filmed during fourth quarter of 2013 where they filmed in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines. The film is directed by Ryūhei Kitamura, whose last directing project was 2008′s Midnight Meat Train and he has some good credits to his name with both Alive and Versus.

Plot concept: Taking place before the gang comes together and are working as individuals, we see them make their way into the Ark of Navarone in order to steal the Crimson Heart of Cleopatra, an item that has a legend that it will unite the world under the person who possesses it.
