Set for release on August 5th, 2014, Sentai Filmworks has revealed the finalized design for the twelve episode collection of Yuyushiki. There’s not much in the way of differences here other than some very minor tweaks revolving around placement, but we also get a look at the back of the package this time around and a look at how the discs are being silkscreened. Click on an image to see a much larger version that you can pore over. The release is priced at $59.98 on Blu-ray and $49.98 on DVD and will contain the clean opening and closings as the extras. And as you can tell from the Blu-ray packaging, it’s another release where due to there being no lossless English language track, they have enough space to put it all on one disc.
Plot concept: Everyone knows you can learn a lot on the internet, and some of it is even true. But if you want to know what’s REALLY going on and important, then there’s just one place to go: the computer club! Okay, so maybe it’s not the club itself, but the three girls you’re most likely to find there. And maybe they do spend more time chatting about their social lives and debating things like the virtues of ketchup versus mayonnaise than they do learning about the ins and outs of a keyboard, but whatever they’re up to, it’s sure to put a smile on your face. So come learn what the mysterious YuiYukari Formula is all about and join serious Yui, hyperactive Yuzuko and lovable but not quite in touch with reality Yukari as they experience life’s ups, downs, surprises, and occasionally, the internet in YUYUSHIKI!
