Syfy Developing ‘Clone’ TV Series

With Robert Kirkman still being a fairly hot commodity in terms of potential product, it’s no surprise that development of titles that comes from his Skybound Entertainment imprint is being looked at as you try to surround yourself with good people and projects. The latest one to enter development is that of Clone, which was created by David Schulner with artwork by Juan Jose Ryp. Starting in 2012 and having its third collected volume land just a couple of weeks ago, it’s certainly a title that is easy to adapt and fits in with another recent clone themed series with Orphan Black. Set up for Syfy, it’s being produced by Kirkman and Schulner along with David Alpert of Circle of Confusion for Universal Television.

Plot concept: Dr. Luke Taylor’s perfect life comes to a dramatic halt when an identical, bloodied version of himself arrives at his doorstep with news that he is one of many clones… and they’re all after his pregnant wife and their unborn child!
