While the delays are obviously hugely frustrating for fans, the second installment of Code Geass: Akito the Exiled has had a new promotional video surface ahead of its September 14th release. The promo clocks in at just over 90 seconds and highlights a lot more of the animation and certainly builds the mood well for the series. The show, which is currently unlicensed in North America, has been licensed in Australia by Madman. The original series was licensed in North America by Bandai Entertainment but has fallen out of print since the closure of the company.
Plot concept: The story takes place in Europe in the year a.t.b. 2017. A Knightmare unit made of boys and girls from Area Eleven are thrown into a military operation with a 5% chance of survival. They must rescue an allied unit left behind on the European war front.
