Tiger & Bunny – The Rising
Viz Media continues to have a close working relationship with Sunrise when it comes to Tiger & Bunny as the company is helping to promote the new feature that’s coming in Japan next year on February 8th, 2014 with Tiger & Bunny – The Rising. The second feature from the recent popular property has done well for Viz Media and the push to get this new feature is an obvious one. The promo highlights some neat images from the new film while also promoting a special event coming up on October 12th which will include new sponsors, more trailers and more designs along with a live performance and some exclusive cast interview material. All of which we hope shows up on the eventual DVD & Blu-ray release.
Property Concept: Sternbild City is home to people called “Next,” who use their special abilities to protect the people as superheroes. These heroes solve cases and save lives so they can wear sponsor logos or acquire “hero points.” Their activities are documented on the popular program “Hero TV,” which picks the “King of Heroes” in a yearly ranking. The veteran hero Wild Tiger has always preferred to work alone, but now he’s been assigned the rookie Barnaby Brooks Jr., who has a different perspective on being a superhero.
