Diabolik Lovers
Media Factory is gearing up for their fall premiere of Diabolik Lovers and it’s already shaping up to be a bit of an interesting release. The series may be getting just a partial solicitation at the moment as only the DVD release has been announced with it set to begin on January 29th, running for 6 volumes. The limited edition versions will run for 5800 yen each while the regular editions will clock in at 3800 yen each. According to one bit of data, the episodes are slotted to be 15 minutes each, which could mean that at the end of the DVD run, we’ll see a full Blu-ray box arrive rather than single Blu-ray volume releases.
Plot Concept: Komori Yui is a positive-thinking girl who nevertheless is troubled by seeing spirits and experiencing poltergeist phenomena. In her second year in high school, she transfers to a new school—a night school for entertainers and celebrities—due to her father’s work. There are rumours that vampires exist among the student body, and Yui ends up living with the six sadistic Sakamaki vampire brothers.
