Ahead of its August 6th release, finallly, FUNimation is showcaseing the opening sequence to the Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Blood Trail Complete Collection DVD/BD![]()
set. The series follows up the popular two seasons that we had gotten before, originally released by Geneon Entertainment and then picked up by FUNimation, who also grabbed this OVA series so that we’d have all of it in glorious high definition. The opening song is fun as it reworks a chunk of the original opening sequence and uses some of the same animation and lyrics, but in different ways.
Plot concept: Welcome back to the criminal paradise of Roanapur. Fasten your seatbelts for a violent ride: mad maid Roberta is back in town with a thirst for revenge.
