The Tomorrow People
With some interesting allusions to comic books and other TV shows of the past that have worked the same genre, The Tomorrow People continues to be a show that we’re hopeful for. The latest round of interviews for it has a brief bit with what can be viewed as the lead of the series with Robbie Amell getting some face time. The CW, which is premiering this show on Wednesday, October 9th, is bringing out the show as a part of its growing line of genre series since those do seem to be doing well and are generally underrepresented on the main broadcast channels. Plot concept: The story of several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil.
