When we get to this time of year, even the usual publishing patterns take a turn simply because there’s so much historical data on how little people tend to buy even of their favorite things. With two weeks of holidays around, one of which is obviously focused heavily on shopping and spending, discretionary funds go down and it makes sense to go with a light load of releases.
