Nothing says the holidays like talking about difficult love stories or the end of mankind? Such is the case with the new releases out today, of which there are few due to the holidays. That hasn’t stopped Sentai Filmworks from bringing out a couple of titles that are definitely worth checking out. Humanity Has Declined is one of the first subtitled-only Blu-ray releases out there from the distributor and while we’d love to see a dub for it, we’ve also seen the niche audience that it has. Which is unfortunate because it’s such a quirky series that it really should be seen by more. Similarly, you’d expect the same for Say, “I Love You” but instead it managed to do well enough to not only get the high definition treatment, which is a plus for it, but also to get a really solid dub that lets the cast have fun with some more challenging emotional material.
