Battle Angel Alita The Last Order Omnibus 1
With Battle Angel Alita: Last Order ending in Evening magazine at the end of January, Yukito Kishiro has announced through his blog that he’ll have an art collection book out in the first half of the year that will cover a couple of decades of his work. And then in the second half of 2014, it will have him bringing out a new series entitled Kasei Senki, aka The Martian War Chronicles. The current series has been in publication since 2001 when it moved to Kodansha’s Evening magazine.
The new series is part of the Battle Angel world as it appears to focus on the events of the war and expand on them, which has been touched upon in numerous flashbacks in the current series.
