Youkai Watch
It’s been a quiet run overall in the lead-up to Youkai Watch as we’ve mostly just gotten some of the basic details such as the voice cast for the adaptation of the 3DS game released this past summer. The anime adaptation is being done by OLM and it’s set for a January 8th, 2014 premiere while a manga adaptation kicked off in December of 2013. Now we’ve got a new thirty second spot that’s come out just ahead of the premiere.
Plot Concept: The story line of the game goes about the main protagonist named Keita who discovers at one hot summer day an old capsule toy vending machine in the forest. Keita receives a mysterious watch which he meets a ghost butler with the name Whisper. Whisper tells Keita that the watch allows him to see supernatural creatures that he could never see before in a everyday life. Keita alongside with Whisper and his companion Kabanya explorers his town to search for other ghosts to battle.
