Sengoku Basara
Fans of Sengoku Basara are set for some more fun in that particular story universe as at the Sengoku Basara 4 Basara Festival 2014 ~Party of the New Year~ event this weekend, CAPCOM announced that in addition to the game out this year, there will also be a new anime project as well for the franchise. The company didn’t offer any further details but it’s expected to be this year in order to complement the game, which is landing on the PS3 on January 23rd, 2014 in Japan from the company.
The games have previously been adapted into anime form with Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings, which had two twelve episode seasons each with an additional OVA back in 2009 and 2010 as well as a feature length movie in 2011, all of which was done by Production I.G. and released in North America through FUNimation.
