While most promos for new shows clock in at just 15 seconds as a reminder that it’s coming, The CW is going the extras 15 seconds with their new promos for upcoming mid-season additions. While the CW is keeping some more straightforward non-genre dramas on there, they’re loading up throughout the upcoming season but also trying some shorter run mid-season shows to see if they can gain any traction. One of those midseason shows, set for a March 17th, 2014 premiere, is Star-Crossed, a science fiction teen romance series created by Meredith Averill. The series is being produced by CBS Television Studios for The CW and stars as its leads Aimee Teegarden and Matt Lanter.
Plot Concept: Star-Crossed chronicles the epic romance between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind are integrated into a suburban high school.
