There’s a lot going on with the various DC Comics properties in TV and film and there’s the general feeling that a lot of things won’t truly connect, and in some ways that might be for the best. One of the things people do want to see connect, myself included, is for the Arrow TV series (and the planned Flash series) to connect to the movies that are in the works with Man of Steel being a launching point. That means that there’s a lot of hope for Stephen Amell to slide into those films in some way so as to tie a lot of things together in a neat way. That came up in a recent interview where he talks about the discussions.
“All we have to do for something like that to happen, or even be a possibility, is continue to take care of business with our show and then we put ourselves in a position – but the important thing is our show. I have had discussions, but I think the gestation process for this project is a lot slower than most people think. I mean, they haven’t even shot the next one. They haven’t even shot a frame of the movie before the movie everyone thinks is the Justice League movie!”
