Anime Sols had the kind of growing pains that seems to hit all new companies when their first release, Creamy Mami, had a glitch with the second disc where episode eleven had no subtitles. With a show that’s only in Japanese and requires subtitles, that’s a pretty big problem. The company pushed back the release through Right Stuf for the overflow discs and set about to create a replacement program to fix it. That’s now getting closer to reality as they’ve sent out an update regarding the status of the replacement:
Check discs are finished and are in the process of being verified (more carefully this time)!
Once we give the OK it will less than 2 weeks before Rightstuf gets the replacement discs and can start sending them out!Once they start shipping, we will send out another email notice.
The company also followed up by talking about the second set, which achieved its crowdfunding status, noting that the release is pretty much set as all the encodes and subtitles are done. At this stage, they’re waiting on the final menu and package designs from Pierrot.
