Mikakunin de Shinkoukei
Mikakunin de Shinkoukei, aka Engaged to the Unknown, is set for a Japanese home video release on March 19th, 2014 for the first volume and TOHO is looking to make sure you buy more than just the DVD or Blu-ray’s themselves. On the same day as release, they’re putting out three separate character song CD releases, all priced at 1,200 yen each. To help get you in the mood for it, they’ve got three promo videos out that highlights the character artwork and design for each of them while sampling the songs for them as well. Each CD has two character songs as performed by the actress behind that character.
Plot concept: Based on an original comic written by Cherry Arai, Engaged to the Unidentified is a slapstick romantic comedy centering around 16-year old Kobeni Yonomori, who lost her memory of her childhood due to an accident. On her 16th birthday, she is introduced to her fiancé for the first time, Hakuya Mitsumine, who not only saved Kobeni’s life when she was injured in her childhood accident, but may also not be human…
