School Of Monsters
For a certain segment of fans, myself included, I’ll pretty much watch or read anything that Robinson Haruhara wants to do after the deliciously fun and weird Senyu series that aired last year. This May sees the return of Haruhara with a new series, Gakumon! ~Ōkami Shōjo wa Kujikenai~ (School of Monsters! Wolf Girl Won’t Give Up), and it’s also now been announced that it will be getting a flash web anime series as well which is set to debut on April 25th. The adaptation is being handled by Studio Moriken with Kenshi Morii directing it with Soshi Iguchi handling the character designs.
Plot concept: The story centers around Shushu (center left in image), a girl who enrolls into a monster school as a “wolfman candidate.” However, she keeps the fact that she is a girl a secret. Yumi Uchiyama will play Shushu, and Hiro Shimono will play Juzu (top left), the taciturn son of the school’s principal. The other characters include the dorm head Timido, Shushu’s class representative Kiisu Fraigaa (far right), and Kiisu’s teddy bear sidekick Bear-tan.
