It had a few additional pieces afterwards with a side story series and two sequel series that also ran for 51 episodes each.  The work is based off of the manga of the same name by Tetsuhiro Koshita that ran for thirteen volumes between 1994 and 1999.

The Blu-ray release is now set for an August 27th, 2014 release for 63,504 yen and will be done across nine Blu-ray discs remastered off of the original negative film with an all new HD telecine. The release will be in its original Japanese in PCM form. No on-disc extras or first press materisl have been announced other than a new box design by Akio Takami.

Plot concept: Based on the manga by Tetsuhiro Koshita, Bakusou Kyoudai Let’s & Go!! has 2 main seasons evolving around the Go brothers and the TRF Victorys. The 3rd season, Bakusou Kyoudai Let’s & Go!! MAX evolves more around 2 new main characters, but the primary idea is the same…Racing!

Let’s & Go!! focused on Retsu and Go Seiba, two young brothers who receive racing cars called “Mini 4WD” by Dr. Tsuchia. From there on, the series portraits those two boys, training and customizing parts to later on participate on Japans Cup, where all of Japans racers enter to be the best of the best!
