Crunchyroll has formalized another spring 2014 anime simulcast acquisition that we learned about previously with Aniplex USA listing them as a streaming partner with Mekaku City Actors. The series will begin its streaming run this Saturday, April 12th, at 1:30pm ET for premium members and a week later for free members. The series has a pretty good range of availability open for it though it’s missing out on a couple of notable exceptions as it’s open to viewers in North and South America, South Africa, the Middle East, the Arab League, Europe except UK and Ireland, French-speaking Canada, French DOM/TOM., Arab League, and Europe (including French-speaking world, but excluding UK)
Plot concept: After a series of incidents that occurred on August 14th and 15th, a group of boys and girls, each with their own unique power are brought together. The members call themselves the “Mekakushi Dan” (Blindfold Organization). Their goal is to solve the mysteries of the incidents to find the truth.
