One of the things that’s definitely becoming a perk to what ComiXology is doing with their summer reading program of free books is making sure that there’s a good bit of variety to work with. In fact, so far it’s been less about capes and more about other properties of varying mixes. The latest one to make the leap comes from the folks at Papercutz as the first issue of the WWE Superstars series is now available for free. The title comes from writer Mick Foley and artist Alitha Martinez for the series that kicked off in December and has four issues released for it. For fans of wrestling, this is definitely an interesting but not surprising approach to take as the WWE has been working to expand into other areas, both with the personalities they have and for new avenues.
