Ahead of the September 19th Japanese release of the game Even Though It’s a Game, My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong as I Expected from 5pb Games, we’ve gotten a new promo that showcases the game itself for the spinoff on My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. The game for the PS Vita is also getting an OVA bundled with it, which we saw the promo for previously. The game ties in nicely to the anime series OVA as it’s being overseen by the original light novel author, Wataru Watari, as it deals with the game during summer vacation focusing on a new scenario that blends in well. The cast from the anime is participating with voicing the same roles and they brought in original character designer Ponkan8 to work on the game as well, making it very canon for the property which is always welcome to see.
Series concept: So exactly what’s going to happen when Hachiman Hikigaya, an isolated high school student with no friends, no interest in making any and a belief that everyone else’s supposedly great high school experiences are either delusions or outright lies, is coerced by a well meaning faculty member into joining the one member “Services Club” run by Yukino Yukinoshita, who’s smart, attractive and generally considers everyone in her school to be her complete inferior?
