After getting a touch of information with the release of the theatrical poster recently for The Zero Theorem, the official YouTube channel for it has updated with a new clip that shows just how this particular near future world will be handled by director Terry Gilliam. The Zero Theorem brings him back to science fiction has Christoph Waltz as the headliner based on a story by Pat Rushin. The film was done in both the UK and Romania in order to keep costs low, though no formal budget has been revealed. In advance of it playing at the 70th Venice International Film Festival on September 2nd, the first theatrical poster has been released for it.

Plot concept: Qohen Leth is an eccentric and reclusive computer genius who lives in an Orwellian corporate world and suffers from existential angst. Under the instruction of a shadowy figure known only as “Management”, Qohen works to solve the “Zero Theorem” – a mathematical formula which will finally determine whether life has any meaning. Qohen’s work in the burnt-out chapel that serves as his home is interrupted by visits from Bainsley, a seductive woman, and Bob, the teenage son of Management.
