Toei Entertainment Japan continues to mine its extensive back catalog and has grabbed one from way back in 1968 with Little Norse Prince Valiant for Blu-ray release. The feature is an important one for animation and anime fans as it features Hayao Miyazaki working on key animation while long time partner Isao Takahata directed it. The release is scheduled in Japan for December 6th on Blu-ray for 5,250 yen. No details are available for the release yet for what it includes in terms of technical specs or any bonus material.
Plot concept: Horus is a boy that one day, hunted by silver wolfs, found the sword of the sun. The day his father died he left his home to find the people from the town his father told him. Together with a small bear named Koro he start the journey an run into a great adventure fighting against Grunwald and his subordinates who wants to rule the world.
