I won’t expect the fan recording to stay up too long overall, but for those wanting to get a taste for the new series coming in January 2014 by Shinichiro Watanabe, take a gander below. Watanabe has been involved in some of the bigger shows over the course of his career, from Macross Plus back in the day to last years Kids on the Slope, and of course his most well known overseas series with Cowboy Bebop. In January, he’ll be debuting Space Dandy, which is being done with studio Bones. The series is his first full on comedy style series, though a lot of his shows have had good elements of humor and comedy in them before. According to his presentation panel at Otakon, the staff for the show will be:

The panel showcased a lot of design work from it, which you can see here at Anime News Network, and it’s pretty much a given that this show will get a strong overseas push since Bandai America has registered a US domain for it as well as the Japanese domain.
